💥💥Body-worn video released in officer-involved shooting in Fresno

The Fresno Police Department has released a critical incident video of an officer-involved shooting that happened in Fresno on Oct. 5th.

The shooting wounded45-year-old Samuel Davidson-Rollin, who police say was wanted for stabbing a liquor store earlier that day.

They were responding to 911 calls around 12:30 a.m. for the report of a stabbing in the5600 block of North Fig Garden Drive.

While rendering aid to the stabbing victim, witnesses described the suspect.

The convenience store clerk was taken to the hospital with critical injuries due to stab wounds.

The police department’s helicopter was able to locate a subject matching the description in a nearby church parking lot.

Other officers arrived at the church where they found Davidson-Rollin who was carrying a small knife and a can of pepper spray.

They ordered him to drop the knife and get on the ground but he refused their commands and sprayed the pepper spray while walking towards them.

He then moved faster toward an officer and they fired their service weapons.

Davidson-Rollin fell to the ground and both of his weapons were recovered. He was treated at the scene and transported to CRMC in critical but stable condition.
